Much like SfK, The Stone Table is a global missions organization rooted in the marketplace. They leverage the profits from their marketplace businesses to fund strategic global missions projects around the world. The Stone Table also equip and encourage marketplace Christians to engage the Great Commission through books, seminars, online resources, and our business incubator program.

Jon B., a contributor to their online articles, compiled a useful list of the top 10 books related to Business As Mission. It is a great resource for those who are newly interested in BAM as well as those who are seasoned in this field of ministry. Here is a link to the list:

MINISTRY UPDATES

MB Academy - SfK held its March session for MB Connect on March 21. Team 1 presented their unsuccessful venture experiences and the lessons they learned. The session was very beneficial to all.

MB Academy - All the lecturers could produce their video lectures for the Entrepreneurship Module in time. Praise the Lord! Please pray that all lecturers will remain diligent in carrying out their roles until all works are completed.

MB Community - Kamal, the Managing Director of Karen Huduma based in Nairobi Kenya has been receiving his cancer treatments. Please pull your hands together for God’s healing grace for Kamal.

MB Community - A member of MB Community is in the process of establishing a travel agency business in a Middle East nation. Please pray that he and his team will gain God’s special favor.

SfK Network - SfK now has a new website: sfknetwork.net. Part of the new website is still under construction, but it has all the previous information and more. It will be expanded more as time goes by. Please pray this new website will be far more useful for all in the BAM ecosystem.

MB Services - SfK ITAM is gaining momentum in its establishment process. We aim to complete the legal and administrative process in Q2. Please pray that all parties involved will be blessed and also become a blessing for others.

SfK Network - SfK lectured on “BAM and Migrants” on March 17 for the MMTS (Migrants Mission Training School). Please pray that the Lord will continue to broaden the perspectives of all participants on a holistic mission through BAM.

UPCOMING EVENTS

1. MB Academy - SfK will hold the April session for MB Connect on April 18. This month, Kang Rak Lee, CEO of KR Consulting, will lead the session with a lecture on “BAMer and Strategy” and a live discussion. Please pray that all participants will benefit from this session.

2. MB Academy - SfK now has the poster for the BMT 2024, an online training program for BAMers. If you are interested, please register using the QR code on the poster. Please pray that God will send the people who will benefit most from the training program.

3. SfK Network - SfK Korea is finalizing some details on launching its own business that will benefit the churches. Please pray that the preparation for launching this business will progress under God's gracious guidance.

4. SfK Network - SfK Life (USA) and SfK Korea will hold their respective in-person board meetings in May. Please pray that all board members will seek God's wisdom in deliberating and deciding on important issues.

5. SfK Network - BAM Global will hold its online BAM Global Summit on May 9. You may register by clicking at this website. https://bamglobal.org/events/ We are happy to remain a sponsor to support its ministries in 2024.

MB 아카데미 – SfK는 3월 21일에 MB Connect 그룹을 위한 3월 모임을 가졌습니다. 이번 모임에서는 팀 1의 멤버들이 자신들의 성공적이지 못했던 사례들을 공유하면서 배웠던 교훈을 나누었습니다. 참가자 모두에게 유익한 배움의 시간이었습니다.

MB 아카데미 – 창업가 모듈 (Entrepreneurship Module)에 참가하고 있는 모든 강사들이 계획한대로 동영상 강의 제작을 모두 마칠 수 있었습니다. 인도하신 주님을 찬양합니다! 모든 강사들이 남아 있는 일을 성실하게 마칠 수 있도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

MB 커뮤니티 – 케냐 나이로비에서 사역하고 있는 Karen Huduma의 대표 Kamal이 항암 치료를 받고 있습니다. 하나님의 치유하시는 은혜를 함께 구하는 중보 기도에 참여해 주시기 바랍니다.

MB 커뮤니티 – 한 멤버가 기독교에 적대적인 중동의 한 나라에서 여행사를 설립하고 있습니다. 하나님의 특별한 은총을 힘입어서 직면하고 있는 많은 도전과 장애를 극복할 수 있도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

SfK 네트워크 - SfK에서는 새로운 웹사이트인 sfknetwork.net을 제작하였습니다. 이 웹사이트는 종전의 웹사이트 내용을 포함하고 있지만 기능이 대폭 확대될 예정입니다. 새로운 웹사이트가 BAM 세계에 있는 모든 분들에게 유익한 웹페이지가 되도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

MB 서비스 – SfK ITAM 을 설립하는 과정이 가속화하고 있습니다. 태국에 법인을 설립하고 있는 과정이 2분기 내에 방향을 잡게 될 예정입니다. 관련된 모든 분들이 하나님의 축복을 체험하고 아울러 다른 사람들에게 복의 근원이 되도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

SfK 네트워크 - SfK에서는 3월 17일에 이주민선교훈련 고급과정 수강생들에게 “BAM과 이주민” 이란 주제로 강의를 실시하였습니다. 모든 참가자들이 BAM을 통한 통전적 선교에 대한 시각을 넓혀갈 수 있도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

다가오는 일정

1. MB 아카데미 – SfK는 MB Connect를 위한 모임을 4월 18일에 가지게 됩니다. 이번 달에는 KR Consulting 의 이강락 대표가 “BAMer와 전략”이란 주제로 강의와 실시간 토의를 인도합니다. 모든 참가자들이 이번 세션을 통해 유익을 얻을 수 있도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

2. MB 아카데미 - SfK에서 실시하는 온라인 훈련프로그램인 BMT 2024의 등록을 받습니다. 5기로 실시되는 이번 훈련에 관심이 있으신 분은 첨부된 포스터에 있는 QR 코드를 통해 신청해 주시기 바랍니다. 하나님께서 이 훈련프로그램을 통해 가장 많은 유익을 받을 수 있는 분들을 보내주시도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

3. SfK 네트워크 – SfK Korea는 자체의 사업으로 IT 앱 마케팅 비즈니스를 시작합니다. 5월부터 시작하게 되는 이 사업을 통해 한국에 있는 교회들이 유익을 받게 될텐데 추진되는 과정에 하나님의 은혜로운 인도하심을 받을 수 있도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

4. SfK 네트워크 – 미국의 SfK Life와 SfK Korea는 5월 중에 각각 대면 이사회를 개최합니다. 모든 이사회 멤버들이 중요한 사항들을 토의하고 의사결정하는 과정에 하나님의 지혜를 구하도록 기도해 주시기 바랍니다.

5. SfK 네트워크 – BAM Global은 전세계 BAMer들을 위한 지원단체입니다. 5월 9일에 온라인으로 BAM Global Summit을 실시합니다. 다음 링크에서 등록할 수 있습니다. https://bamglobal.org/events/ SfK는 2024년에도 BAM Global의 후원단체로 섬기게 됩니다.
